I’ve been watching Dipity evolve to timeline manage several different themes/concepts and I find them all useful. As an option to display search results I think it’s uniquely powerful. Plus it’s beautifully done and so efficient from an UI standpoint… I think it’s some of the very best ajax work on the web.

If there’s great content refreshing constantly it’s hard to imagine people getting bored with Dipity.As Jason implied, FriendFeed isn’t a particularly interesting site unless it’s full of your friends’ content and conversations.
Dipity has demonstrated its usefulness for plain data like history and news (their timeline of the run-up to the Iraq invasion was particularly eye-opening) and the focus on your friends’ data should make it a standard widget for every personal blog.

Jason — Dipity is built completely in AJAX. The only Flash in the site is an invisible .swf that handles file uploads. Thanks for the nice mention!
