Happy Birthday Google (Again) (The Video Version)
by Michael Arrington on October 1, 2008

Yeah I know, it isn’t even September any more, and we’ve already said Happy Birthday to Google twice. But this video comment left on the first post is just too good not to post. I have no idea who this is, but she’s a star.

If her parents would like to let us know who the talent is, we would love to send the whole family TechCrunch tshirts.

happy birthday again

Oh, if only I still had that much energy…

I actually laughed, not lol-ed.

Yeah that was awful…. Maybe it’s because I don’t have kids, but I hated that.

How can you hate a kid having fun?

Dude, you’re strange.

Only on TC will you have a little girl in a video, presumably showing her love for a tech company, and many comments still find a reason to hate it.

happy birthday google, happy birthday girl!

Congratulation girl;
You are granted a job at Google. The next Melissa Mayer?
lol.

hahah this child is AMAZING

Doesn’t coppa say you need to be 13 to register for seesmic? … hopefully her parents didn’t give her permission to post that. haha

this video and the girl is amazing.

*laugh* I enjoyed that video too when I saw it. I love how it cuts off right as she’s about to get really crazy.

Please stop feeding that kid candy!

What a crazy kid :) I agree about too much sugar.

I wish I had so much of energy.

That was absolutely hilarious. Before I watched it, I couldn’t imagine what from the comments about Google’s birthday could be worth re-posting, but now I understand.

We did some research and we know who that is: It’s Sarah Palin

no need to joke more
workflow stops :-)

lol she just had a energy bar I guess. Cute :)

The problem? That most likely her parents put her up to it, which makes it lame, not cool.

And btw, I have a baby girl myself and have nothing against kids having fun. I do have an issue with parents using their kids though…

Guess her parents told her that “Google” will invite her to the birthday party and give Google stocks as return gifts! :)

get a kid hopped up on froot loops and tell her it’s someone’s birthday, and this is the expected outcome

Good video!!!! if u bore from work, it actually a good way to kill time.

A funny girl :-)
Raises the mood during working hours.
Happy birthday google again

Happy birthday Uncle Google ( still develope new service? )

oh wow-what a bundle full of energy-cute!happy birthday!!!

Lol…. Great Video…

Happy Birthday Google… :D

That was cute? The girl was amazing? Michael, don’t waste our time anymore. I was actually looking forward to something interesting.

Unfortunately, the girl is singing a copyrighted song… doesn’t she know she’s breaking the law. She should be put in prison, or at least fined like music downloading pirates.

BTW… that was sarcasm.

She is already a famous singer/songwriter in Eastern Europe, so this doens’t suprise me at all….

sorry, no star and highly annoying to the ears. :(
