Is this a competitor or complimentary to Redwood Technologies (http://tynted.com/0LWdTrXj30V)? I know the folks over at Redwood, they are more business focused and SkyDeck seems more consumer. Is that true?

A good idea, I installed it long time back, but used it only a few times... the beauty of social networking services is that there will be people who would like this and use it on a daily basis.

[...] SkyDeck originally launched its private beta in March with a basic set of features that allowed users to automatically pair contacts from their address books to calls in their phone records (we likened it to a Xobni for cell phones). In June the site expanded its social features, giving users the ability to connect with their friends (they can also see how relationships are skewed based on who is calling whom).
I don't know if I'd feel like using the social features all the time. I wouldn't want another site, or in this case another network, to manage. If I were to use it, I'd find it interesting at first and then probably drop off. Now, if there were say mobile apps for something like the iPhone that can help me out when there's nothing to do, then I could see some promise. Hopefully, then I can send out some last minute birthday wishes or activity reminders.

It's a very useful concept I think. Sure it may suck harder than Michael Jackson in a candy store full of 3 year olds, but good on them anyway.

How many start-ups do you own again "do not want"?
