World of Warcraft has a Pirate day in-game as well, everyone gets to dress up like a pirate just by talking to an npc. And there is a pirate party where you can dress like a pirate for 12 hours talking to the pirate captain.

i had to come back here to find the translation link as i couldn’t figure out what the pirate for ‘translation’ was once i’d switched!
