I don’t know if it was worth a try… I can’t think of many people who thought this pairing made sense in the first place. It made less sense after the first commercial.

Don’t get the message distorted by TechCrunch. Microsoft is probably just readying the next set of advertisements because that was the plan in their $300 million dollar budget all along.

TC is trying to word it like the Seinfeld ads were a colossal failure and Microsoft is trying to cancel them like it was a failed sitcom in a new TV season lineup. That doesn’t even make sense.

I highly doubt they’ve “axed” the Seinfeld commercials. He was brought on as a “Phase One” type thing and I’m sure all of his & Bill’s commercials have been shot, edited and will be released over the next month or so. They’re just announcing what to look for next after the Seinfeld thing is over…if they even do that much at all.

Anyone who honestly believes Microsoft was really going to spend $300 all on a Seinfeld commercial series is retarded. And by “anyone” I mean the blatantly obvious MS-hating blog TechCrunch.
