William Lopez, why are you talking about all of this financial and world trouble? Why are you trying to make us stop talking about how much we hate (or like) the new facebook? We're on a discussion board with THIS TOPIC. If you want to come here and tell us to stop talking about what the discussion board is about... I think you can leave.

My theory: MA's being paid for Facebook advertising on Techcrunch and this is the best he could come up with after talking about basically everything.

To think such a post is on the same level as "Two New Visual Tools To Make Craigslist Even Better"

[...] There’s a lot of hating go on towards Facebook right now due to their new look. As long as they don’t change the status updates I can learn to adapt. Status updates are by far my favorite thing about Facebook. It oddly comforts me knowing the drivel that occasionally goes on in my friends lives and it’s surprising how witty my friends are at crafting their status updates. I have to admit that I feel some sense of pressure to not write “just anything” on there. And if we were all being honest all of our status updates would read “so and so is…geeking out on Facebook. Duh!” [...]

This is so typical : most people are useless and just take space and can’t see past t heir nose. The reason fb changed the design is simply to get more advertising banners, every time you click on the different tabs, a new ad banner is shown. Before I could see everything on one page, now I have to click 5 times, and see 5 more stupid ads, to get to where I want on my page. Old face book had a simpler, single glance, front.
The motivation for the new fb page is simply motivated by greed. They get paid every time you click on the tabs to get to your stuff.
