I will try to summarize its strengths and the weakness here: S: We have really good engineer schools and tech universities S: There are high profile French tech people spreading the love for the Internet over the world (Loic le meur and Louis Monier for example) S: France enjoys high speed Internet connection. Its generation Y is definitely keen on using the last app, gadget or anything flashy and trendy! W: French people do not necessarily speak English fluently... W: It can be very tricky to set up your own business (lots of paper work and being honest it is time and energy consuming to deal with government agencies!) However, this situation tends to be a little bit easier than before (we have hope!) W: I got the feeling that French It companies work separately. There is no such things as cluster or Silicon Valley in France. This is a really rough analysis of the French market but being myself in New Zealand, it is not that easy to track whats going on in my own country! Vive la France!
