		<description>It&#039;s not so simple. For one, it&#039;s not binary; some developers are indeed put off by this attitude by Apple. Secondly, it motivates them to find an alternative to support. The more Apple annoys developers, the more like MS they become, and thus the more folks will try to avoid that entanglement.

For my part, I think Apple is a far nastier company than MS, and based on my poor experiences with iPods, it&#039;ll be a long time before I buy anything from them again. Thus, developing for their platform will probably have to wait until they have a much larger marketshare (e.g. over a billion phones).</description>
