Sounds like anti-spam to me, just like DoNotCall List. I don’t have a land line and am not affected either way, but incessant marketing through direct mail and telemarketing sucks!

The “right” to call someone’s phone and provide unsolicited info is not in the constitution. Is the sign, “No Solicitations” also “anti-freedom-of-speech”?

seems like they’ve done a good job of focusing the news specifically about the candidates and their running mates…clearly it’s not for everyone but it’s sure easier for me as an iphone user than hitting several different apps or websites and searching for the content i want. sounds to me like you were just looking for a chance to plug your anti-freedom-of-speech org…

I’m sorry but I don’t see what is revolutionary or even different. The NY Times and the Washington Post both have iPhone apps (Free I believe) and they have lots of information that looks to be exactly the same as this.

There is a ton of lively discussion on the iPhone opinions website http://www.floort.com (Apple Staff Pick) as well. It is amazing how many people want their politics in short bits while waiting for a place or a bus.
