Do me a faivor “no download” ?! They showed it all offline and when I sent them and email that I want to get a beta I got no word from them. I’m sure its not working online at all

Totally right joe. Even Flash sucks for 3d besides the basics (despite the great efforts made in this direction like papervision or sandy), you have to have a plugin or a “real” application if you want to compete with real games. And even Flash is a plugin.

And what a lie about no download then say it streams.. streaming IS downloading !

And text-based chat, gah, come to the 21st century: take Steam for example, it enables full voice/text/groups chats from within the games, event the 15 years old ones. If you want to compete you need to do more than your competitors, not less.

Anyway, mrketing buzz crap pff.

guys, what about flash and acrobat and media player?
in IE they are ActiveX and in FireFox a plugin.
if you want DirectX or OpenGL inside your browser, you HAVE to create some sort of an embedded object.

Probably the least interesting start-up of the gaming section. The USP totally relies on the fact that there is no download needed to play, so what? If users like the product, they are willing to make the download anyways.
I’m surprised this start-up gets a post but not Akoha or Atmosphir which are way more innovative services.
