You are shortchanging yourself by not dealing with your problems in a constructive manner that may actually lead to solutions with a way out of where you find yourself.

Great Roundtable. Sumont had alot of good comments that the future players are not in silicon valley. they are everywhere else.

Also that, Internet sites are inexpensive and the vc's are not needed like in the past.

This was live show segment definitely made history.

What about "why are 85%+ of VC's Jewish?". All top VC's, movie producers, media moguls, etc are Jewish. If you want the $$$ then become a Jew and change your last name to Solverstein or Goldsmith. Look at Google. Do you think they released Google Apps and Chrome to "make the web better and safer"?. Give me a fucking break. They are on a mission to crush Microsoft because, you guessed it, Bill Gates is not a jew. ALL technology companies that have been successful in the last decade are owned/invested by Jews. Oracle, Google, IBM, Skype, eBay, etc.

sort of agree on their answer to the user traction vs rev model question, but only as it applies to the typical techcrunch B2C thingy. to point, i did a startup where we got 7 mil users with just an OK rev model, and we nonetheless got a nice exit.

but i would have loved to have heard their answers for a B2B play - or any startup that's solving a problem so well, people would actually pay to use it (gasp)

perhaps thats a different conference... :-)

Ross Levinsohn's gratuitous comment about Bristol Palin for a cheap laugh was low rent. I’m not a fire breathing conservative but out of left comments like that are embarrassing. To use language Levinsohn can probably better identify with…his comment gave me douche chills!
