The TechCrunch50 conference in San Francisco next Monday through Wednesday is now oversold. We had originally anticipated as many as 1,500 attendees (50% more than last year), but we blew through that number earlier this week and are now at around 1,650 attendees. The venue actually holds this many people without any problems, but we have to order more infrastructure stuff to accommodate everyone.
We will be cutting off ticket sales tonight at midnight or when we hit 1,700 attendees, whichever comes first, to get a final attendance count. So if you plan on attending, get on the ball now.
The final agenda is now on the TechCrunch50 site as well. Check the blog for regular updates.

Jealous that AGORACOM can’t make it this year…See you guys next year. TC50 should be great.
Congrats,
George
hope they will broadcast it live. now that would be a Technological Advancement Website being untilized to its fullest potential. not a insider trading show. were all in this together arent we. like family? the more you give the more you’ll get. brotha’
congrats on the turnout
1700 tickets * 3000 people = 5 million dollars
plus i think you were selling small kiosk tables for 10000 a piece, so another million there.
wow. I’ll watch it on TV. Like the Oscars.
I figured you’d be hosting the T3chlusive5000 and raking in billions.
I noticed DEMO is still sending me emails for discounted tickets.. I don’t think they are even gonna get close to selling out. I had lunch with someone from a VC firm this week who was pissed he got assigned to go to DEMO (only an associate), but all the partners were going to TC50.
Who the hell is going down to san diego? I’m glad you guys are forcing the market to get rid of the pay to play in what is supposed to be merit based opportunities.
Looking forward to it!
Hope I’ll be chosen to volunteer!
You may not know this but Microsoft is having trouble selling out PDC

They extended their early bird discount. It’s in LA, but I’m not going. I hardly ever use my MSDN or their tech. We’ll see if they start letting people in for free to fill the place up.
Looks like it will be a good turn out.
Is that a pog slammer your giving out as schwag?
Way to go!
TechCrunch50 is oversold, so we’re selling more tickets!
anyone have the list of companies presenting?
I guess this is what happens and you start including Hollyweird — amazing how media history repeats itself a la adios sundance-creativity now does anyone remember how dynamic Napster was.
There’s a reason that all the Silicon Vallye start-ups – shmebos, webo — seem the same — it’s because their a walled garden of imagination created by the walled gardens enforced by Hollywood’s MpAA/RIAA thugs.

I would love to go. My buddy won the Mint.com award by being http://www.mintfanatic.com/
I have applied for a student pass, I think I meet all the qualifications, however, I have not yet heard back. Can anyone help out? Thanks.
Me too! They have not been answering my emails! There is no reason I would not have qualified and I submitted my info before it sold out.
I’m pissed that they got my hopes up with student passes, then failed to even return my email.
