How come these comments are a year old? I am 60 years old and never won anything. There 3 in my household and I am the last one to get use our computer. I would like have something to call my own. I deserve to be given something once in a while. I have given to a lot of people who needed my help. I hate to be my own advocate but if I do not who will.

I am 61 yrs of age and I would love to have a mini laptop .

there are 3 in my house and I am t he last to get to use this pc. I would like my own connection to th e outside world and on my own time. I deserve to have something of my own once in a while. And I have never won or been given anything for free . Others may deserve it more than me , but I would like it to be me , for change.

My daughter has diabeates and she is 12 years old and she wanted one for christmas and she didn’t get one because we don’t have ant money she only got a few gifts that were a few dollors

Hi there my kids and i have had a rough few years, I am off work of ptsd because of my ex and I am raising the 2 kids on my own. 1 is now a teenager and could really use a boost with a computerof her own for her homework and some fun.
I would really like to be able to surprise her one day with one of these I think they are a great compact way of carrying around contact with the entire world.

Messaging me if she will be late from msn or text to my cell from the internet
Playing Music
Movies
Studying
Writing her music and hymns

Etc
If we get this chance to have one small dell of our own to hold and love we would be so much appriciative.

aha – at last – someone who has got a usb to serial converter working with this thing! I’m still waiting to hear from Dell if this works – like you, I want one to plug into servers – so which converter did you use? And do you have the Linux or XP mini?

I am looking for free laptop for me from Bangladesh. I started learning software designing my own with the help of books. Since I can’t pay for any private teach class due to low in-come for my dad. It’s very hard to study without practical knowledge. If I get some help by getting free laptop it will great I can help my parents too. Once I get job I will get my own computer and I will give your laptop to other poor children like me who need of it…

I purchased this PC and arrived on September 23. Because I am light and am easy to carry it, I carry it at the time of commuting. The performance can easily get information with a quite good thing in the business trip and is convenient. I use BOX NET. I can facilitate the joint ownership of the file and am convenient. I think that I want to give this PC to a younger brother. I contributed it.

As a student, almost all of my homework is based on computers! We currently have one computer at my house that can actually connect to the internet ( we also have our old computer thats basically only good for viewing old pictures ). Also i am a dancer and i go there straight from school (everyday of the week besides wednesdays and sundays) with homework due the next day, usually having to do with the internet. Because i go there straight from school, i think it would be a HUGE blessing to have a tiny laptop that would fit in my bag and in my locker. I am trying to convince my parents to get the dell mini, but because ballet tuition is so high, i am trying to save up on my own. Let me tell you, i’m not even close! Our ballet teacher bought a computer for the “homework room”, but there are many other girls who need it just as much as i do! We also do not have internet quite yet, but he is planning on installing wifi connection! (perfect for a laptop) So i try and finish all of my homework that doesn’t involve a computer, but when i get home… (continue on next comment please)
