[...] TECH CRUNCH — Sep 2 — Psismic has a novel approach to internet dating. Rather than simply stating who you are, or taking a personality profile, Psismic lets users upload interesting pictures and videos, text posts and links. Then others indicate if they like what you’ve posted and the site serves up matches based on who likes the same items. The site is minimal in nature, well laid out and easy to navigate. There’s really not a lot to it. The main page shows the all-important “Post Stream” which shows all the posts from other users. — author Mark Brooks FULL ARTICLE @ TECH CRUNCH [...]

Genius is next to madness, and Gentle Giants music skew's slightly towards the madness side for me. I can completely understand why people like them though. Its really just a matter of a difference in taste. I understood the Psismic site a bit better when I saw posts I didn't like, mixed in with posts I found rather interesting. I felt I wanted to strike up a conversation with the folks who posted the most interesting, and also with the people who posted the far-out items...so I could understand what they were thinking.

Sometimes they’re really not, but that’s ok because it’s still amusing. At least they provide a window into other users’ psyches and somehow indicate whether you’d get on with them well.
I don't know - the website says - "We introduce you to people based on your changing interests ..."
Is that how I want to meet someone? Chasing a version of a person? I want to know the core not the flavor of the persons month. Next month, they may want vanilla.
