Great new invention from dial2open group who have just made a fantasic prodoct called gsm-auto,
I bought a GSM-AUTO to preheat and start my aircraft with my cell phone?
I just call it with a free phone call and the GSM-AUTO does the rest.
Use the GSM-AUTO for switching lighting,heating or anything electrical.
Brilliant bit of kit and the GSM-AUTO comes with a free T-Mobile sim card.

I was just at an eLearning convention in Portland and found out about a new, really quick way to make captions. One of the speakers became fed up with expensive and buggy software so he set up: http://www.YouTubeCC.com/

It seams really easy to use.

Finally! As a HOH person I get so irritated at not having total access to the media. By now EVERYTHING video should be CC. Unfortunately, it is not. DirecTv just launched a new channel the I can not watch because it isn’;t closed captioned.

Closed captioning does open up a great deal of potential spam. But the benefits will outweigh the potential costs.

With youtube better able to identify what a video is about there’s less chance a spammer can post a porn video under the title of “barking dog” or some other misleading title.

Not very user-friendly (I have to create a file manually?) http://www.overstream.net has a user-friendly editor, AND allows embedding. Did I mention that it works with YouTube to boot?
