I am not promoting Google Android or Android App store but atleast Google the copy cat is more open to allow people like us who develop applications for different mobile OS/terminals to be part of the echo system without TOO MUCH control. This is also a proof that 3rd party Apps is a sustainable business and reality now for mobile applications and games developers.
