Don’t mind Chris Rondot, aka “BeerCo” aka “Chris R” aka “Techlusive”.

He’s a known troll around these parts. Especially when the topic of Canada comes up (he also vehemently hates most other countries too). His hatred for Canada seems to be related to his *failed* efforts to start a company here.

YuMe, is a Microsoft startup company. They made a YCombinator type program in order to make sure that some people would use IIS, .NET and windows technologies in web startups. After PHP and LAMP dominated a couple years back MS tech became obscure and this was part of their response.

Microsoft is now largely fueled by execs in Montreal where they are creating a sort of exec incubator, so this is hardly surprising.

So while I would like to think they are going to deadpool, the reality is that they could be the worst money pit in the world, and they will never exhaust the Bill Gates pocketbook.
