CTO publicly encouraged engineers to start their week at 1am on monday, no matter if you slept off rest of the week. Make sure you show up in the war room to tell everyone you bleed purple. My recruiter and hiring manager oversold me on my position. I have worked on three different things, none of them what I was told. Sorry that I took the bait. Loss for Yahoo. I have worked with Adam for many years at Yahoo. He was the most inspiring leader Yahoo ever had. He made impossible possible by focussing on positives. He motivated the AMP! team to acheive impossible tasks. I remember one instance in which he stayed with the team for 4 straight days in LA and acheived 5 weeks task in one week during extreme crunch time.
