Well, it has been a while since the post was done, but I am still not sure whether Google acquired digg…not sure I really care.
I mean how would that affect the use of Digg..do I assume that Google will give more authority to digg?

I have never found Digg a particularly useful way to manage content on the internet. I can see why Google is interested. They love the strategy of the most popular, most visited to filter internet search. However the content on Digg seems muddled. Maybe Google could push Digg’s idea in the right direction.

This is a problem with the exponential scale, such as digg is probably only logarithmic or geometric, as the user is not automatically notified when new elements may be of interest to it, are dug from others in the network, is a slow and gradual process.
