Well, our tickets to tonight’s IMAX pre-screening of Batman The Dark Knight are all sold out, but we do have 10 tickets left to give away (5 sets of 2 tickets). We will give the tickets away to whoever leaves the best comment about why they should be invited attend the screening (video comments get more credit). Our summer interns will pick the winners.

Video comment? Please this is a comic book movie. Tickets should go tho the biggest comic book fan. Being a huge batman fan involves owning and reading comics. Anyone who hasn’t read the Killing Joke, Year One and Dark Knight Returns shouldn’t even be considered for tickets tonight.

The reason my lovely girlfriend and I deserve the tickets: I just traveled to LA to meet up with her and we were dying to see the new IMAX Batman, but can’t get in to see it until about four hours before I have to be back at LAX on Monday. Testing the 405 at rush hour on a Monday evening will be sheer hell, the new movie is 2 and a half hours, and our relationship hangs in the balance.
In fact, it is highly likely that if we don’t see Batman tonight, we will break up and not conceive the child that will go on to defeat an army of evil robots thirty years from now.
Ask yourself this: do you want the annihilation of the human race on your conscience? It will probably happen if she and I don’t get to see Batman tonight. I shudder to think of the consequences. The fate of the world hangs in the balance.
Because i know Heath ledger ledger didnt die.. and tha the is in some island partying along with Tupac, Elvi and Hitler… well… im not sure about Hitler… lol

Because I have been waiting, aching, almost dying (literally) to see this movie. Ever since those first ads came on (”You have some fight in you. I like that.”) And I must admit even I, adamant disliker of most comics, loved the Batman comics. I used to read them late at night and then freak out before I went to sleep.
So yeah, please. Thats what I’m supposed to say! I’m so excited for that movie.

In all honesty, and I swear I’m not kidding, I’ve just found out that my TechCrunch-covered start up is going out of business. Failed to get a Series B, couldn’t get acquirers fired up, and I suppose the economy was the final nail.
I’d love to see the new Batman movie because it could distract me, for just a few minutes, from the horrible task of disassembling all that I have worked for for 2 years so that we can gracefully enter the deadpool.

I’m 2 hours out of LA right now and will be there tonight for the end of my cross country trip. I’m an enormous Batman fan and since founding my startup, I’m also a huge fan of TechCrunch.
