Live in Los Angeles? Come see the latest Batman movie with us. We’re co-hosting an exclusive pre-screening of The Dark Knight with MySpace on Wednesday, July 16th at 7pm in Universal City (near Hollywood).
We’re showing the movie, starring Christian Bale and Heath Ledger, 2 days before it debuts to the general public. If you want one of the 200 FREE tickets we are releasing for the screening, you can reserve one here.
This is just to say thank you to our LA area readers. The Iron Man and Wanted screenings in San Francisco were both major successes, and we’re sure this one will be too.
The movie, which will be shown on an enormous IMAX screen, starts at 7 pm, but you can arrive as early as 6 pm. We will check your name against a list of registered attendees at the door. There’s no charge for the event, we just ask that you not reserve tickets if you don’t plan to attend (we’ll have a wait list once the tickets are sold out). Ticket holders who do not show up will be subject to restrictions from future TechCrunch events.

Just left L.A. this morning. It would have been so-o nice to meet everyone.
Road trip anyone?
Haha LA in dreams for me.. Anyways i am not a fan of Batman!
I have avoided all kinds of spoils for the last year. I deserve a plane ticket to LV along with it!
Already sold out? Are you allowing unlimited waitlist? Or is that capt out as well? I doubt that anyone will not go but I still might try since it is so close!
I’m excited, cant wait till the event. Looking forward to see all you guys!
Where is the Bay Area love?
Think there is any chance if you’re on the waitlist?
OMG SOLD OUT ALREADY I HATE YOU HAHHhhh
but im on the waitlist anyways.
sigh.
There’s got to be a way you can charge for these at least $3 or something just to deter people from just reserving for no reason.
Either way, I’ve already bought two IMAX tickets to see batman here in San Francisco. The only tickets available all weekend; Friday morning at 3:30AM.
Hey Mike, consider new delhi, india as your ‘would be’ place to do something like that as well.A bulk of TC readers come from here as well so they also deserve a share of the pie that others are enjoying…
The Trailer looks great
Looks great, now only wait for movie
I can has a pair? Intern love?

This sucks something finally in LA and I miss out on it. Mike, how quickly did the tickets sell out?
What? No screening in Wisconsin. You know there are a few of us here too.
Michael – so you want the best story to give out two more tickets? Is this where we post it? How about you give it to a dad with two little ones that only gets to get out of the house to see movies about 3 times per year? That would be me….otherwise how about you follow me on Twitter? @JoshNelson
too bad, I’m from Philippines. But not that bad, I’ll watch it in theaters.
I wish we had TechCrunch here in Brazil to have this Pre-Screening and many other events…
Can i have a ticket or 2? All the other IMAX shows are sold out and i’m a 2x daily reader, so maybe you can help me out. Thanks TC!
