Google is considering a hostile takeover of Mozilla. They think that Mozilla fits their corporate mission more closely than any other company. Mozilla, however, is trying to fend off the Google overlords. They have maliciously hacked into Google’s Gmail web server, and attempted to disable it. While Google was able to avert this attempt (thank goodness), and they decided to launch a counter attack. They’ve added a hidden frame to Firefox whenever Gmail is called up. They will slowly peel Gmail off of the browser. While it is still in the early stages, I expect this peeling to grow until it renders Firefox unusable by any and all Gmail users. Unless of course Mozilla gives in to the takeover, at which point all we be restored.

Ah, corporate espionage and tampering at its finest!
