I hope other users of Multiply (esp. TEH plants) will know the TRUTH. [link]

If the folks at Encyclopedia Dramatica had a page on Multiply, I would enjoy laughing hard at my seat while posting comments at /b/.

I'm having a hard time uploading new pictures in a new album. After upload completion and redirecting part, it hungs up. The pictures were not uploaded but the rest of uploading are working well like new videos, adding pictures to an existing album, links and reviews plus blogs are all ok. Only posting new album. Hoping multiply group will give an attention to this one. Because multiply is my only tool of communication to my relatives outside the country.. Thanks

Recently becuz I love the Multiply xperience I was upset with the changes that came due to the Premium service being introduced, which took away the Hi Res viewing capability of pics.

However, after posting some pleas for this to return and contacting MP Customer Service, it was pleasant to see the usual MP helpfulness and willingness to listen to the Freebie users (like me) and allow the Hi-Res to be available for a period of time, rather than not at all.

Facebook doesn't come anywhere near being what Multiply is. It's TOTALLY boring! There's simply no other social network like MP...I know - I have looked the past few weeks since being disgruntled with the Hi Res issue, but now am happy that MP heard and genuinely listened. Where else do you get that?!!!

I'm not a plant. And as we say in our country, "ang kulit mo!" (You're so insistent). You're so stubborn, you're a mule.

I'm a loyal Multiply user for all the reasons already mentioned above, and more. And to Multiply from the world's third largest user, Mabuhay!

I've been with Multiply since the exodus from 360. I love Multiply, they have their glitches from time to time, nothing to whine about really. However when we have a problem the Multiply folks pay attention and fix them. Multiply has loyal members because they have something Yahoo doesn't...they have ears that listen and hands that take action. 'Nuff said.

Anyone who doesn't like Multiply can click the delete button...it's that simple.

@The original videos are NO LONGER downloadable because of that stupid site maintenance.

Can't even leave your name? I wouldn't either if I didn't know what I was talking about. LOL

Most that are complaining that they can't download videos are those trying to post and download ADULT videos which aren't allowed on Multiply. Sorry about that.

Site maintenance had nothing to do with this. It's a premium feature to be able to ALLOW videos to be downloaded, and perhaps we premium users don't want you to do so. We don't tick the box to allow it.

@Mike, I don't see Multiply bitching anywhere. What page are you on? lol

It's a no brainer that if you don't like Multiply (or even one of the lamer social networks), what the hell are you doing there? lol You must like something. Only an idiot would stay anywhere they don't want to be. So obviously there's some kind of pay off if you go to so much trouble to feed a need to bitch about something.

Multiply lovers ENJOY life and Multiply enhances that enjoyment. So sorry that annoys you. Sad sad life when someone has to live some other way. Maybe there's a social networking for that somewhere.

@ Mr. Pezaris, Linda (dantcer) et. al.:

Do you think it's acceptable that MP took away something that I've enjoyed before? HELL NO! The original videos are NO LONGER downloadable because of that stupid site maintenance. And I don't think my contacts will upgrade themselves to Premium. So do I.

I have a Multiply account too, but I'm using it against those users who are super-loyal and ties with a monopolistic family like the Lopezes of the Philippines. (Remember your ad deal with ABS-CBN, eh, Mr. Pez?)

I accuse all of you of being plants for bitching comments on this entry on TC as much as I accuse all of you stupid MP loyalists(?) for being one-sided. I dare you to terminate my account if you have the guts of doing so.

And Linda, stop saying to Mr. Abundo that Multiply never lost its focus. Actually, he tells the truth.

It will be better off thinking of someone can embarass you guys in an otaku convention.

**...Thinks of drawing a yaoi caricature of Pez and Gabby Lopez doing buttsecks...***

SHIMATTA BAKA NI!!!!

@Mike Abundo

No, Multiply has not turned from a social networking site to an online storage site.

Multiply is a social networking site that offers online storage of both posted and non posted content for those that wish to take advantage of this additional feature. Online storage is just one more advantage and feature offered with the premium program. For those that don't need this additional feature, the social networking is still in place with even better control of our posted content via the new Media Locker.

Mike, It's really not hard to pay attention when Multiply keeps all of it's members updated. Oh, I forgot... you have an empty site and don't participate. Of course you wouldn't know anything about it to be able to render an informed comment.

A social networking site can have many facets and that these facets were actually requested by the users. Since Multiply listens to it's users...

.... they gave us what we asked for. Premium services AND with online storage as a bonus!

It's really not that complicated, but we can write it in crayon if you wish.

And there's one other thing that Multiply offers that Yahoo has yet to do!!! At Multiply, you can ALWAYS opt out and cancel your account! 360 users, Yahoo has made it tougher for you to leave! I should know...I'm also a 360 user who has stopped using Yahoo except for mail and groups! When 360 was in beta state, you could easily opt out, if you felt like doing it. Now I can hardly find any link ANYWHERE on Yahoo that will allow me to leave ANY PART of their service, regardless! So who's really the bad guy, Yahoo or Multiply? VIVE LE MULTIPLY!!!

[No relation to the Dave who posted immediately above me, three weeks ago]

I have to admit, I had my attention called to this post by the Multiply community. That's what brought me here. Does that make me a plant? I know--on as personal a level you can know someone via an online networking site--some of these people you call plants.

Just because somebody loves a product and doesn't mind saying so doesn't make them a plant. I know how fun it is for some people to flame everything they hate and not take the time to share with others the things they like... But try to understand there are people in the world who would rather spread a positive message than infect others with a negative one.

My name is Dave, and I enjoy Multiply.

just dropped back in to see what was going on in this thread,
an i figured the plants needing watering an feeding since there are so many here giving honest responses on the subject of Multiply.
its really to bad some had to sink to the level of calling Mutliply members who were responding here - plants.
or worse nearly saying they were employees.

i guess honest opinions are hard to swallow for some people.

I hope I can add this.

I'm seen as a "kid" by most sites.

Albeit: I shop online..."click and buy". Like it or not, W/we (kids) spend a lot. W/we spend the most and mostly get treated the worst. W/we, by O/our ages alone, catch most CrAzYs ( pervs ). W/we seldom get a REAL voice in the products W/we use....unless it's a scams.

I was included in the beta testing of these ADDED services.

I have had the President ...CEO...Boss...Head of Gardens...Da Man, ask me about services.

NO PLACE else has ever showed T/they cared about me and my safety.

Thank Y/you
