If the folks at Encyclopedia Dramatica had a page on Multiply, I would enjoy laughing hard at my seat while posting comments at /b/.

However, after posting some pleas for this to return and contacting MP Customer Service, it was pleasant to see the usual MP helpfulness and willingness to listen to the Freebie users (like me) and allow the Hi-Res to be available for a period of time, rather than not at all.

Facebook doesn’t come anywhere near being what Multiply is. It’s TOTALLY boring! There’s simply no other social network like MP…I know – I have looked the past few weeks since being disgruntled with the Hi Res issue, but now am happy that MP heard and genuinely listened. Where else do you get that?!!!

I’m a loyal Multiply user for all the reasons already mentioned above, and more. And to Multiply from the world’s third largest user, Mabuhay!

Anyone who doesn’t like Multiply can click the delete button…it’s that simple.

Most that are complaining that they can’t download videos are those trying to post and download ADULT videos which aren’t allowed on Multiply. Sorry about that.

Site maintenance had nothing to do with this. It’s a premium feature to be able to ALLOW videos to be downloaded, and perhaps we premium users don’t want you to do so. We don’t tick the box to allow it.

It’s a no brainer that if you don’t like Multiply (or even one of the lamer social networks), what the hell are you doing there? lol You must like something. Only an idiot would stay anywhere they don’t want to be. So obviously there’s some kind of pay off if you go to so much trouble to feed a need to bitch about something.

Multiply lovers ENJOY life and Multiply enhances that enjoyment. So sorry that annoys you. Sad sad life when someone has to live some other way. Maybe there’s a social networking for that somewhere.

I don’t know about you, but I find it hard to respect a company that bitches to its users about drama on someone else’s blog comments.

Do you think it’s acceptable that MP took away something that I’ve enjoyed before? HELL NO! The original videos are NO LONGER downloadable because of that stupid site maintenance. And I don’t think my contacts will upgrade themselves to Premium. So do I.

I have a Multiply account too, but I’m using it against those users who are super-loyal and ties with a monopolistic family like the Lopezes of the Philippines. (Remember your ad deal with ABS-CBN, eh, Mr. Pez?)

No, Multiply has not turned from a social networking site to an online storage site.

Multiply is a social networking site that offers online storage of both posted and non posted content for those that wish to take advantage of this additional feature. Online storage is just one more advantage and feature offered with the premium program. For those that don’t need this additional feature, the social networking is still in place with even better control of our posted content via the new Media Locker.

Mike, It’s really not hard to pay attention when Multiply keeps all of it’s members updated. Oh, I forgot… you have an empty site and don’t participate. Of course you wouldn’t know anything about it to be able to render an informed comment.

A social networking site can have many facets and that these facets were actually requested by the users. Since Multiply listens to it’s users…

…. they gave us what we asked for. Premium services AND with online storage as a bonus!

I have to admit, I had my attention called to this post by the Multiply community. That’s what brought me here. Does that make me a plant? I know–on as personal a level you can know someone via an online networking site–some of these people you call plants.

Just because somebody loves a product and doesn’t mind saying so doesn’t make them a plant.
