Fabric – seems old world …but …. I suppose it is like comparing costs of the shoe for the horse and the “shoe” for the car (ie tyre)

The horse may be old tech but it still needs shoes, and the “shoe” for the car is generally less expensive!

Old tech still is relevant!

Amazon also just became the biggest shareholder in the european Netflix, Lovefilm which operates in UK, Germany and Scandinavia. Will be interesting to see if they make a move on Netflix in the US.

Amazon is slowly acquiring sites that where in competition with them and had a profitable business plan, I believe this is a great move by them and they are slowly becoming the end-all be-all of online shopping.
