Hi all,

karaokeplay is a pure copycat of singshot and not working well. Not worth mentioning. 14.000 songs is just possible with a low MIDI quality. 14,000 songs could never be cleared in countries with a strict copyright law…

I like karaoke on the internet, it’s something I enjoy and I sing every week.
The best site I have come across is http://www.karaokeplay.com mainly because it’s very easy to use.

Granted, the song database is limited but at least you don’t have to be a computer wizard to figure everything out.

Phrases like “proud to report” and “boasts the largest”blah blah blah just reek of advertorial. Which self respecting impartial journo or blogger would ever write like that?

Then they try to cover it up by later saying a few things that sound a little negative so folks don’t think it’s a paid for sales pitch.

TC, if you want start running advertorials, more power to you, but take a cue from traditional media that when do so, the honest thing to do is declare it, not try to hide it.

I tried and its great, especially with the webcam.
However I found that with the webcam it can get a little slow.
I created a private channel on yaika.com and it worked very well. They are not a karaoke site but when people connected to the stream, I was able to sing together with my friends in Australia.

I had a hunch the first comment would be about “guest author”. I can’t tell anything from the writing style. How abut anyone else?

This is not the audience for Karaoke, but maybe the much larger catalog makes them a winner. What’s the total addressable market in this space
