I think Techcrunch is being overly critical about Yahoo. I've now read more than 10 posts on Techcrunch alone in the last one month where (mostly) Arrington is just lambasting Yahoo and Jerry Yang especially.

I'm not sure what he has against Yahoo!, but you know sometimes we just don't like some people from their looks or overall body language. Looks like Arrington has been having this problem with Jerry and Yahoo! in general. I would really like Arrington to get a life and leave Yang alone.

Boys and girls. Jack wouldn't make this up. He wouldn't do anything unethical like conspire with Yahoo employees to knowingly leak confidential information.

Jack is a member of the California Bar. See?

wtf r u talking about? I work for Y! and we have had as much communication from upper management as we possibly could. Infact life inside Y! is as peaceful as it could be. except ofcourse for the stupid arrington speculation which claims the opposite.

just because some idot employee who feeds you titbits wasnt around enough to get a holistic perspective, doesnt mean that you go around ranting about the latest dream you had.

Nowadays I find even Harry potter more believable than your posts. either rowling's become a really good reporter or you should just shut shop and start writing about spaceships.. atleast there you could let your creativity loose and not have the rest of us waste our mornings..

this is not just about Y! posts, now I have started to seriously doubt the credibility of your other posts. who is to say where you get all your crap from.

Arrington hasn’t been heard from in 24 hours. He must be negotiating with his bankers to keep “All Things Y!” above water. Inside sources say that executives might be leaving. We will post as we hear more.

yang and Decker are billionaires who can care less about shareholders and employees.

The only shareholders and employees who are whining are Microsoft's, who haven't seen their stock move in either direction in the last 5 years. Microsoft needs the YHOO deal to placate their people, not vice versa. It's all about the outside agitators in this story.

Michael, you continue to be WRONG.

Yang is a great CEO ! He was able to say NO to Steve Ballmer !
Steve Ballmer was the wrong guy, stupid and only thinking about money!
Money is not all in life!

Yan have a vision, a great company with a nice look and feel.
Google have a bad design and it's run by KIDS.

Yahoo is the only company in the business with mature web services.
They just need to improve the coherence between them and build
a unified design.

I did a straw poll in the office, 70+ employees (web related work) and also got the sysadmin to pull some logs from the proxy. Not one yahoo access in the last two weeks. Just who does really use it ?? (far too much youtube and myspace & facebook access though...)

Mike,

You should repost links to the meoms that were linked on how to fix Yahoo as they support your assumptions and etc.. lets see about 18 to 36 months ago..

links are:

http://www.techcrunch.com/2006/11/18/yahoos-brad-garlinghouse-makes-his-power-move/

That is probably not the only one, but that is the one I remember..

Keep up the good coverage..
