Don’t like the color. I HATE purple!! It clashes with everything on my home page. Like the old print better. If they want to change the logo then CHANGE it. The new is too similiar to the old, and the color now stinks. Time to go back to the drawing board. How much trouble can it be to hire a design team?

Yahoo keeps adding an “m” into my homepage address, giving me a useless purple yahoo page, instead of good RED yahoo page. Need to get red yahoo back—can’t find tech with info-and find where they are hiding that “m” in my computer, so can delete it from messing with getting my red yahoo page.

Yeah I can see it too, I thought at first it’s part of a special for 4th of july as earlier fireworks and the american flag were flashing but seems like that stopped and it’s just plain purple now.

Yes, I have the purple logo on my homepage as well…but i think that the logo should be either orange or green or perhaps the user should have a choice like the color of the page….otherwise i think the red logo was allot better.

I worked at Yahoo! in the past and there was always the debate “are we read or are we purple”. Perhaps you haven’t noticed but all Yahoo! ads use a purple logo. It is only on the masthead that there is a red one.

That being said it was always the same logo just a different colour. I guess they are finally getting around to testing the Purple in the masthead.

i don’t mind the purple, i’m just glad to hear others have it also. no one i know has it. i do miss getting the seasonal anamation on my homepage thought. yesterday was the first day of summer and i didn’t get the children playing under the yahoo name like my daughter did on her computer

How come when you go to http://www.yahoo.com/beta it redirects to beta.yahoo.com (even though it is a 404). No other random words do this so why does ‘beta’??
