It sure looks like, by having to hack the iPhone for video capability, the framerate really suffers. What is that, like 5fps?

To anyone who was dissapointed by the 3G lack of video …this is amazing. Love Flixwagon’s service on my Nokia N95 (which works for me wheb I travel overseas too!) but this is even sweeeeter. Now if only AT&T would offer a service worth paying for I may actually finally get that iToy…

As long as video can be taken and stored, the wifi-only limitation can be minimized. Nothing beats a jailbroken phone though.

I personally think mobile broadcasting from a cellphone has the potential to be tremendous and mainstream. The work done by Flixwagon and others to push this market forward has been tremendous. It is great to see solid technology companies pushing the limits. A capability like this has the potential to change society and massive consumer behavior.

Well done to Flixwagon and the other players as well.

Apple will not allow this over cell networks. If they do allow it on AppStore, it will be relegated for WiFi only access.

What’s the point of officially supporting a pirated service like unlocked iPhones?

Can somebody clear this up for me?
