Hi,

There are already companies doing this, but no doubt the incestuousness of the blogosphere will give them more traction.

They are effectively competing with companies (or partnering with those that do) on which they report on.

Kind regards,

I launched NeWWW.TV over a year ago [ http://Newww.TV
] with the same idea. A few months after launch I learned of NewTeeVee. Some months after that I emailed Om pointing out the name likeness, with a different site focus. And suggested we could work together. He never responded. Cool. He's sooo HUGE! and all. (cough). So I kinda left the namespace to him... though I think NeWWW TV is a much better domain hack than NewTeeVee.

Its interesting how folks sometimes think along the same lines, come to the same conclusion... but spell things out a little differently. The WWW is the New TV! All the best to the "NewTeeVee Station"!

Here's what I want in Internet video:

I want to be able to set up a single, dedicated monitor at my workspace that will continuously stream my favorite video content as would my tv (where that's the *only* similarity to old tv). And I want it to work the way Pandora does for music, so I can upvote what I enjoy and increase the likelihood that I see more video content suited to my taste.

NewTeeVee's editorial approach is good, but the next step is to allow users the options to get that content served up automatically. Why not?
