I thought hulu was genius from the beginning, cause they nailed splicing commercials into video. That was enough. Who competes?

IMO this should of been done, or offered to be done, with youtube members, so they can monetize on their original vids.

Its amazing that you seem to disregard the pbs shows on Hulu. While all of the other media companies are just waking to the potential of the interest PBS has been a leader in online interactive content. While the content may not interest many they are years ahead of almost everyone else. Maybe you should take another look.

Try watching these two docs while most people on this site will find interesting.

Yep, I predicted as much when Hulu was first talked about, from my own experience, I know that legal means of accessing copyright materials is a very attractive option for consumers, especially those who can’t or don’t want to mess with bittorrent.

One thing Hulu, Joost, YouTube and Google Video can all learn from Netflix:

Full screen, flicker less video. This is the most annoying drawback with flash-based video sites.

If they can accomplish what Netflix has done, it’ll truly be a better video experience for everyone.

I haven’t played around w/ hulu much at all (1 visit), but can I still make the video stream available via a UPNP media server and pipe it to my D-link DSM-520 and watch it on my plasma in the other room??
