Glenn - a sub-folder is no different to a top level folder.  If I archive a mail thread in a primary folder or a sub-folder, what on earth difference does it make?  There is nothing technically mutually exclusive about hierarchical archiving and threaded mails.   A folder is a folder is a folder.</description>
