My favorite budget site is BudgetToolkit.com - http://www.budgettoolkit.com I am uncomfortable sharing my bank account information with sites such as Mint (or any site, for that matter). With BudgetToolkit.com, I download my bank statements and then upload them directly to BudgetToolkit. No account number information is necessary.

Unfortunately, basic functionality like recategorization of transactions doesn't work at mint.com. I filed detailed reproduction instructions and 3 weeks later, the same exact bugs exist. Of course, one doesn't know that they have fixed these basic issues, so one wastes ones time. If they can't fix basic issues like this, you have to wonder about other things like security. I am now experimenting with Yodlee and Quicken online and can't wait to get off of mint.com although I am concerned about my data. I have never written negative comments like before about a company but wasting considerable amounts of time multiple times will do that to you. I hope that some one at techcrunch takes a hard look at their product quality. They get too much good press.

@15 Ryan. Thanks for posting, it's nice to see the underdogs making it. I'd like to request from TC to do a 'where are they now' type of article for not just the top 40, but the guys in the demo pit, like Ryan. - Ryan, what's your URL?

@Mint. When I tried to sign up a year ago or so it said your product doesn't support image verification log ins, which is what my bank uses for security. I got an email saying you were working on it and would let me know when it would be available ..tic toc tic toc.. still waiting to use your awesome service patiently. :)
