This video was fun but a little spammy so I hope newcomers won’t judge the puppets based on it alone. The video before this one with the Dave Winer puppet and Jason Calacanis was absolutely sublime. My all-time favorite though is still the Scoble puppet’s tour of Half Moon Bay.

At CommunityNext, I recommended that Noah bring in Sean Suicide to speak about Suicide Girls. All these other so-called experts talked and talked … and yet none of their communities were generating income, nor could they go beyond basics. Suicide Girls does have a subscription model and merchandise that sells quite well.
So while Disqus might be the flavor of the week, I am more impressed with what Zivity has to say. Because, if Disqus goes down or goes under, there goes ALL the conversation that you wanted in comments.
The CTO from AT&T, yes, I’ll tune in for that. But, that’s as a shareholder.
Why do people make such a big deal about Zivity ? it’s really nothing special. and it’s funny how their CEO says that Playboy should be scared – she should just check out the compete.com comparison.

The Shel Puppet interviewed a beautiful woman and had a light-hearted interview that made people laugh and may have turned them on to something new.
Scoble is bragging because he gets to talk to the guy who runs disqus (FAIL FAIL FAIL EPIC FAIL NO COMMENT IMPORTING ON DAY ONE FAIL) and some tool from AT&T (NSA Remote Offices).
Then, he belittles the company as a “porn site” completely missing the point that it’s a community driven adult site that has venture capital behind it.
Scoble, yet again, proves he is completely out of touch.
