Getting on the list of applicants was our main goal, as this will generate some traffic and some SEO value.

With Red Herring we became finalists and got decent traffic and several VC inquiries.
With Startup2.eu we had less success.

In the end, the main goal of participating is to get customers, not investors.
We all need sales or revenue.
