And that’s why I don’t like these kinds of “contest”. You can also find these contents on toothpaste covers to fill some form and send it back to them and best slogan will win 12 months of toothpaste :). And as they don’t bind to disclose winner, all participation assumes that someone else wins this time. But actually, there is no winner in those contests.

I am looking at all those comments above and laughing my ass off. Few are gone into begging (they cant effort this book) in name of “creativity in their submissions”.

Good marketing stunt Sarah!

Hi,
I'm writing my bachelor work on blogs impact for the society in Lithuania, Europe. Actually it's very difficult to get such information material in here you have to trust only online stuff. This book would be the great source for me and my colleagues, because I'm definitely will give it away for my university.

Thanks ;)

Michael,

At Cornell University they have an incredible piece of scientific equipment known as the tunneling electron microscope. Now, this microscope is so powerful that by firing electrons you can actually see images of the atom, the infinitesimally minute building blocks of our universe. Michael, if I were using that microscope right now... I still wouldn't be able to locate my interest in your trite, self-serving, cornball giveaway....Yeah, I still want the book! Thanks

I need this book because there is a program in Ontario that helps young entrepreneurs start their own businesses by offering free training and a free $5000 investment towards my business if the idea is original and plan seems implementable. I've always loved business but I plan to major in Accounting, and starting a business during busy times in University won't seem possible. I'd like to start my business now while I have time before I leave high school =)

I am a Web Design student at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, so obviously this kind of thing really interests me. I'm always looking at ways to better myself, maybe I can get something out of this book.

I'll most likely buy a copy anyway.

I am a grad student.

this means a couple things. First, I am broke. Second, I study the intersection of computer mediated communication and cultural theory. There is not a lot of people that approach things this way. I think that I could really use this book as a reference to add some nuance to a paper that I am preparing to present at conference. I think getting Lacy's book into academic circles is good for the Web community, for Lacy and for academics as well.

So, pick me.

I want this book because I will be graduating with my BS in Web Development next month and will be looking at a lot of options, some of which include my own startup or joining on board a web startup. I want to see some of the behind the scenes interactions among web companies, what has made them a success and where they have stumbled. I'm also interested in looking at their relationships with venture capitalists and people interested in purchasing their companies to look at past decisions to help me decide what the best course of action would be should I end up in that situation myself one day.
