Today on GMA news they announced how this card recovered a photographers complete supply of all cameras that were stolen. She had left the bag accidentally behind while getting her son out in the car and it was stolen. Later she found new pictures on her photo website with the man in the photo that stole the bag. She sent the photos to the restaurant where stolen from and they acknowledged it was their head waiter. Crime solved and all equipment was returned to the photographer. The waiter was fired!

It does not say if the geotagging creates XMP sidecars. Kinda pointless if you do not shoot JPG.

My dream card would be a GPS aware memory card that is able to geotag RAW pictures. Wireless upload to local server would be a plus but only for extra points.

Love this idea & the different products. I don't have much use for the geotagging, but I know 3 or 4 people who need this! How many of you have friends or family that ask when they get their digital camera:

"So how do I get these on my computer?"

or

"I want to email these to a friend, now what?"

I'm with TranceMist. Everything in this world sucks. The world needs people like us to bring everyone down. Who cares if there are actually a lot of cool uses for something, always remember to look at the downside!
