I visited the Sprout site and played around with the widget builder. I could see where a young person hooked on social web sites and widget hungry could be turned on by such an item. I’m not really sure where the “real world” application lies. Why not just create your own rich media banner in Flash? It is definitely easy to use, I’ll give you that.

I love sprout and am really happy to see this post. Carnet has been realy responsive in the sprout forums and it is exciting to see sprout’s potential. I wrote a post in my blog in March about why I love Sprout.

I have been using Sprout pretty much since day one. You can check out my myspace social network sidebar I made that includes RSS for twitter, video slideshow, social profile and blog links at http://www.myspace.com/_gersh.

From working with musicians, in my experience so far Sprout is the only other widget that offers the ease of use and scalability that http://www.gydget.com has been able to provide to their users.

I see all sorts of possibilities for Sprout. Thanks Sprout!

Man, that was dead easy. I just tricked up a nice little multimedia widget in about 3 minutes. Like Mik, I wish I could removed the branding. But they get an A for ease of use.
