The ability to drive well while txt’ing is a social skill. A skill that natural selection is going to fine tune in a heartbeat. ;)

Having the technical knowhow to actually turn on a computer, sign up for MSN, use an iPhone is a social skill.

Meeting people requires an initial event where it’s possible for the lives of the two people will come together directly. This technology may increase the distances between friends and decrease the relative “quality” of their interactions but there will be more chances for friendship.

Because if your not running the app all the time, how do you know who is around you? Its a deal killer for finding people near you... I think I have figured out how they have done it. So, if you have a social app, but want to be able to view who is near you, and interact with them, even when they are not running the app, how do you do it?
