Google’s now like a sticky fly paper for everything except that it is now trying to trap not just flies but every insect wantonly.

SalesForce.com is not just technology, its CRM application is a solid foundation which fosters their application ecosystem. Google enterprise applications will need some more time to gain traction among the enterprise. It can’t be compared to SalesForce.com or even (Larry Elison’s) NetSuite. Neverthless it is a good early move and very timely following its app engine announcement yesterday.

What is the difference between Google MarketPlace and AmaZon ? And for that matter with CraigsList? I don’t get it. It is just plain old listing service. They are not even hosted except that they integrate with google. What is so google about this? Am I missing something here?
