The fact that you can't spell their name properly is probably a good indication that nobody else can either. I know domain names are at a premium, but come on... this is about as good as naming your company yhipeeckaiyaay.com.

All and Erick:

My fault for the confusion - WauwWee is free! We are going to TEST a business model by which a user on his mobile may choose to pay $1/day or $5 per month to read messages received. This would not stop him/her from enjoying the full service. And ... if our users prefer ads, we'll go in that direction.

With respect to Shozu ... major differences! We are browser-based - NO CLIENT download. Further we are a MESSAGING service as well as a photo share community. Lastly we work with flash widgets that integrate everywhere and can be shared everywhere.

Guys - try it! Would love your feedback. If we are inhaling too many Amsterdam fumes, we'll adjust! We think we have a (albeit raw) winner. Watch your widget refine over the next while. That refinement will happen faster with your feedback.

Thanks for your attention!

As far as I know the service itself is free, because I use it for a week now. I was at the Next Web in Amsterdam and it they sais the idea would be to combine the service with a data package from a mobiel carrier. So for Eur 5,- per month use of the service INCLUDING data package. The cheapest data package in Europe is around EUR 7,50 flat fee.

That is a severe misquote. The service is absolutely free.

We are however pondering to add additional services that include streaming media, which are going to cost the user the prices mentioned in the article as far as we can see now.

Regards, the Wauw! Wee team.
