Funny that You Tube's April Fool's Joke is what we are already doing now. Well, almost - but still really really cool video interactivity. have a look at www.veeple.com. Also, see our little article in www.killerapps.com and www.newteevee.com. Fun times!

I once had a wacky idea called "Google Psychic", which was based on the premise of a Google search into the collective conscious. Blogged about it a while back. I suppose it's similar to this idea in that it takes Google outside of the web environment and into a more 'real-world' environment.

This Google Conversation ads idea is actually not that crazy and I imagine contextual billboards and real-world advertising to be something on the cards for Google.

If you’re not seeing targeted ads, it may be that you haven’t discussed a particular topic long enough for our system to determine the meaning of your conversation. We recommend rambling and repeating yourself to help our system pick relevant ads to display. Also, you may wish to try our voice targeting feature — you can speak more loudly to emphasize certain phrases. However, these activities may result in socially awkward situations, so please proceed with caution.

Surely Google could have created a holographic bubble that floats over your head? You would wear a device on your waist belt that would contain all the guts and technology to project the bubble above your head in conjunction with a small projector device that you would wear on your shoulder or around your neck. This would be much easier to carry and would not muss your hair up.

Ugh, this is so stupid.

FIX YOUR COMPANY SO YOUR STOCK STOPS TANKING.

April 1st is a business day, the markets are open. It's not a "hey, let's all sit around, thumbing ourselves" day.
