It’s based on a stunt plane design I used to use at school. But it seems to lack the basic requirements of a tail and fins. I’m not sure it can fly in its basic form, because the nose fold makes it nose heavy without the compensation of the tail etc… Dropping like a stone seems to be its forte.

That said, my modified version didn’t fly much better, but than that might have something to do with filming with one hand, and throwing with the other. It fell with style.

It has come to our attention that some users are folding the wings sharply downward, giving the plane a negative dihedral.

Only fighter aircraft have downward sloping wings, and since Google does not have an ITAR waiver we are forbidden from exporting such a design internationally. Please ensure that the wings have an upward angle. Your assistance is appreciated in helping Google to keep it legal. Thank you.

Check out google calendar. They’ve added an “I’m feeling lucky” button to the event entry balloon. It sets you up with a celebrity date. Kind of a cheap gag, but I like the shotgun approach they’re taking this year–spraying little jokes all over their services.
