Sounds like a real interesting app. My one concern as it seems to be for many other posters as well is not being compatible with Linux. That is a large portion of the market these days and you guys are completely missing that piece. I am sure in the future you will work out the kinks.

The only thing stopping me from going to Sugarsync from Dropbox is the fact that you do not support Linux. Personally I work with all mac machines however at work we have to use Linux desktops and I cannot be without my files at work defeats the purpose.

Sugarsync is good but not as good as FolderShare.
The only biggest plus of Sugarsync is its mobile interface that FolderShare lacks.

Pixvillage might be an option for those disgruntled (as I am) about losing sharpcast photos. Doesn't work on Mac though. :(

sharpcast is supposed to end service by 19th. I've emailed on the 13th, and I have not received any reply to my queries regarding the migration to sugarsync.

So I started downloading my albums last night, and this morning I find out that my account has been disabled. I have sent several emails requesting my account to be enabled because I need to get my photos off your servers. And until now, there has been no reply.

I am still waiting for my account to be re-enabled so I can continue downloading my photos.

Forums for sharpcast is no longer accessible so this is there are only 2 places I can post hoping that I can at least get someone's attention long enough for that someone to explain to me why my account has been disabled when the only thing I've done is download my photo albums.

Yup very disappointed. They're asking their users to migrate to sugarsync in less than a month, and yet it seems that they have not prepared enough people to assist and to answer user queries.

I would have been happy to migrate, if only they answered my queries, or at least had a forum up so users can interact with customer service. They are, after all, asking their users to start paying right?

Hi,
I'm a Sharpcast customer (yes, paying) and I have to say that is a great product. Even if I was able to use it for free, I decided to contribute and pay the yearly fee.
Like all the great products, Sharpcast will be terminated and replaced by anotherone not so good to manage photos (SugarSync).
SugarSync can be a very good solution for syncing files, but it is not comparable to what Sharpcast Photos provides. I'm very dissapointed about the desicion take from Sharpcast management to terminate the product without an acceptable replacement.

Regards,
Alfredo F.
