1. sliverlight still miss up many function compare to adobe product
2. sliverlight don’t support most of the platform (linux or smartphone…)
3. sliverlight code hard to use compare to adobe
4. sliverlight low time is 10x slower then flash
5. sliverlight need install, flash/adobe most browser already installed
6. sliverlight is bill’s product! don’t use bill’s product except “windows xp” (not including vista)

Flash now has some very serious competition. Not just me-too stuff, either. If Silverlight works well on more than just a handful of mobile devices, Adobe will have to improve their overall offering.

@Matt, absolutely. I caught the same hint. It was so completely un-subtle. Why would he say “anything with an SDK” otherwise? I’m betting heavily that Jobs will announce the SDK AND Silverlight.

Hell, maybe Silverlight IS the SDK. Perfect way to sandbox developers from the hardware (which Apple seem desperate to do), while allowing application development to go ahead.

Silverlight to be released on “anything with an SDK”. Could Scott Guthrie get any less subtle? So we’ll see Silverlight on the iPhone as an announcement along with the iPhone SDK.

The mobile social network “mixxer” must be the stupidest thing ive ever seen. Just call your friends and tell them where you are.

Silverlight is nice though, I just hoep someone finds something useful to run on top of it.

Oh, and im no apple fan boy, but that demo shows why the iphone is just ‘killin it’
