I guess I’m just an old Macintosh, come PC, come full-circle back to Apple once again kinda’ fan. Yes, it is disappointing that iPhones don’t support Flash, but my iPhone is so very useful to me that I’m willing to deal with it until a viable solution is in place.

In a few months more cellphones have touch screen capabilities. HTC already has one with 5 megapixel camera with videos a lot more than the iphone and of course with flash support. If apple continues to ignore flash iphone will be become unpopular. Of course the fan boys will still be there through thick and thin.

The question is whether Apple will look to SVG as an alternative for Flash. SVG is lightweight, open standard, and is already supported by Firefox, Opera, and Safari.

I’ve speculated about this on my blog. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens.

I do not own an iphone and am confused. Isn’t youtube on iphone and aren’t all youtube videos flash? if the iphone does not suport flash, how does it ply youtube videos?
