How To Get Your Job Listings On TechCrunch For Free

There are basically two ways to get your job listings highlighted on TechCrunch: shell out $200 for a listing on CrunchBoard, or write a blog post talking about how you read TechCrunch in the bathroom. Either option is fine by us.

More than twenty new jobs have been posted to Crunchboard in the last week. Here are a few highlights:

    Business Development Manager, MySpace
Ruby on Rails Software Engineer, JibJab
    Market Research Manager, CNET
    Senior Manager, TravelPod Labs, TripAdvisor
User Experience Manager / Producer, Cars.com
    CTO, Unigo
Technical Writer with JavaScript experience, Placebase
    Software Integration Engineer, GoMobo
    Executive Producer, LeapFrog Enterprises

And TechCrunch is hiring too (luckily, we don’t have to pay for our own job listings):

    Events Expert
    Spring-Term College Interns (remote work)
    CrunchBase Analyst
    TechCrunch Research Analyst
  • Sphere It

The CrunchBase Analyst position looks really interesting. Unfortunately I’d have to move across the country for it :(

I’ll admit it. I read TC in the bathroom, in the security line at the airport, waiting in line at the store… basically when ever I need a moment of zen. I’m not sure if I’m going to blog about it, but we are hiring an enigeering manager and a senior software engineer and in Portland Oregon…

Thanks to my iPhone I do occassionally read blog posts while on the shietter. Techcrunch comes handy at times when I’m constipated, which is not that often thankfully.

Last time I checked, the CrunchBoard RSS feed wasn’t working… now all I have in my netvibes is the 37signals job board RSS…

tsk tsk… get that RSS back up… it’s better than going every ten minutes to check for new postings..

While the job position that we’re trying to fill at GlobalGiving is informally called “Java Web Developer Ninja*”, our bathroom isn’t nearly as classy. So I guess you win some and you lose some.

*Martial arts experience not required, but is a bonus at Happy Hour…

We all read TechCruch in our office, although none of us do it at the bathroom.

However, if you are an engineer looking for a job, and read this post, either in your bathroom or in your kitchen, you should know that we are currently looking for qualified individuals to work in a multinational, progressive, startup environment.
