I think that Kijiji is very difficult to navigate. It is extremely manipulative in that it locks you in to a particular city, state or country; which I find very frustrating. The effect is authoritarian and heavy handed. But nothing is perfect, so I’ll use the site regardless. Criagslist rocks, just like garage bands rock–that’s why it is so beautiful. North American ingenuity baby. Do I need the fru-fru? Nope. Do I need feel-good graphics. Nope.

kijijji’s job section is severely lacking. most know in HR and Staffing that even if something is free, it’s not always worth the effort to post. Most of the time free posting sites are a huge waste of time. This is one of them. i prefer sites / models like http://www.ResumeTrunk.com and other similar formats. One big problem is that you can’t even put hyperlinks on it? People have to copy and paste your job link. that is completely ridiculous.

from Sandra O…. alabama… when i got “removed” or kicked off kijiji, it took them 3 wks to answer me as to why? then i found the answer on my son’s email acct…. so i posted 42 suggestions over the last few months…. nothing ugly, just stating truth, they were unfair in many ways, played favorites, used “MOD” TO monitor the web site, all stupid… anyway because i left all the replies to my removal, and the hurt thereof, i had a propane bill badly needing paid, since i’m 65, with adoption of a 7 seven year old grand doll, which i draw nothing for… i tried to sell in Atlanta to pay the propane bill…. anyway to the point!!!!
