We have been streaming our live concert series and our morning daily show the last week on all three (not blogtv yet) simultaneously. We run a live 4 camera switch and on New Years we streamed through UStream a Paul Rodgers concert with 7 camera switch. It has been very interesting to see how each of the companies/providers handle the streams, and the chats and the embeds… I am impressed with all of them for different reasons. They each seem to have a very unique approach and mission. I have totally enjoyed working with the heads of each company as they all are very dedicated to delivering quality.

It is great all this interactive TV, but just how much publicity do Politicians need. I mean we focus on 8 months of elections surly congress is important to. What about shining the spotlight on local issues a bit more and the different political parties too….

the point here isn’t about which site is better, but the social value this partnership is adding. The 2008 election is the hottest in our Nation’s history – no clear favorite going into the RNC. The fact that Americans can get ‘more’ insight into the political process to make their decision in a few months IS THE STORY. Ustream is helping the political process that’s the point.

Btw, it’s fascinating that people in Japan and China can have an interactive view into American politics.

Looks like 80% of these comments were planted by someone at ustream. All the language is the same and seems a tad too positive and flagwaving for TechCrunch.

Mike, Can you check the IPs of those comments to see if they all came from the same place?

Stickam has bad quality.
Mogulus breaks if you get 50+ viewers.
Justin.tv breaks randomly and the pages are set up terribly.
BlogTV is straight up scummy.

Ustream can handle the 30k+ viewers, the quality is great, and its constantly streaming major events. Stickam can have the 12 year olds, Ustream is all about quality.

If you think Stickam has the best quality you are dead wrong. The quality I saw on Ustream from this broadcast was 100 times better than Stickam.

Yea..candidates really are going to use Stickam which is owned by a porn company and have what I have seen on there is borderline X rated..

Ustream has a great brand and clearly are leading the pack. Good work.

They are messing up yet again. “Stickam.com” has the smoothest and best quality Live Streaming Webcam software out right now. We use it for all our company events and shows.

I wonder why Justin.tv and the others aren’t focusing on politics….

Probably because young people don’t get into politics at all. I guess ustream is trying to pull 35-60 year olds into the social media/web 2.0 movement.
