I use a Pocket PC with Windows Mobile as the OS. I’m thinking that the simplicity of this new YouTube user interface would be preferable for all handheld devices with small screens, not just mobile phones.

US Cellular here doesn’t offer browsing on a cell. And my Samsung phone can receive no streaming video.

I do get CBS news alerts. THANKS US CELLULAR! $100 a month for nothing.

WM6 and WM5 both work (6800/6700) when you use HTC Streamer. Also looks like now they let you search all of UT!

Tired this out on my n95 and it cant seem to connect to the streaming server.

Maybe its a Vodafone (AUS) thing but I wouldnt have thought so?

For windows mobile I prefer Amot mv(avotmv.com) which has lot more content like Myspace, CNN, 5min videos.. YouTube thing doesnt work on WM phones

To add to my previous comment, the YouTube mobile site quality is significantly worse than viewing the same video in TCPMP, but it looks like with this update they’ve made some change on the desktop site that may have caused TCPMP to stop working correctly. (It’s been working quite well up until today)

If you’re using WM6, you already had the ability to download the free TCPMP video player and view YouTube videos off their regular site (not the mobile site).

I think this will be better though, now that it’s no longer just a small selection of videos.

Yes. I tested the site on my freshly WM6 upgraded Blackjack this morning and it worked. Links open in WMP.
