It appears the tools they offer are targeted AT the copyright holders. Small stations without the resources to do so independently. “Broadcasters” does not refer to UGC-”braodcasters”

At least that’s my take. The different perspective given to you all shows where your head is….(take my PVR, rip content to flash, upload to youtube).

There are definite issues with the copyright aspect of this venture. No one is allowed to reuse or retransmit a broadcast TV station’s signal without their consent.

In the article, however, they state “…any broadcaster who is a partner in ClipSyndicate.” That implies that agreements are setup with each and every broadcaster.
